Smart Strip Pro can remove even many layers of acrylic, latex, oil and water based paints, varnishes and stains from most wood, metal, and masonry surfaces, usually in a single application. It works indoors and out and is perfect for use on larger commercial and industrial projects.
Testing is critical before you begin any paint removal project
Do a small, inconspicuous test before you start to determine that Smart Strip Pro will work with your coating and surface. This product must remain in a wet state to perform properly. Use it with Dumond laminated paper to help keep it from prematurely drying out while also speeding up the removal process.
Peel Away
Peel Away 1 Paint Remover can remove up to 30 layers of paint and coating in as little as a single application. It’s engineered to strip oil, alkyd, and lead-based paints and most other older coatings from virtually every type of interior and exterior surfaces. Best of all, it penetrates to the bottom layer and performs even when the top layers are latex, acrylic, or epoxy, as long as the bottom layer is an oil, alkyd or lead-based coating. Peel Away 1 is NOT engineered to work if the only coatings are latex, acrylic, or epoxy.
Peel Away 1 is easily applied to interior and exterior wood, brick, stone, marble, terra cotta, granite, terrazzo, concrete, cement, stucco, plaster, metal, cast iron, steel, tin, copper, tile, enamel, clapboard, and slate. Always perform a small test to determine speed and efficacy. In a few instances, Peel Away 1 may darken some hardwood surfaces. Works best on pre-1980 based coatings. The older the better. Peel Away 1 comes in 5 and 1 gallon buckets.
