Minimalist Colors

Minimalist colors convey the essence of tranquility, simplicity, and harmony. By using a limited color palette to evoke specific emotions, minimalist schemes contribute to a clean and uncluttered aesthetic.

Minimalist design uses limited materials, simple forms, and avoids excess ornamentation to create a pure form of design elegance. When using a limited color palette, make sure the main and accent colors are used intentionally and consistently to highlight important design features and furnishings.

From classic and elegant to dark and mysterious, these C2 full-spectrum, near black tones convey minimalist sophistication to any interior color scheme. Dark browns have a timeless appeal that makes them harmonize with both traditional and contemporary design schemes. Pictured here are four of C2’s classic dark browns. These versatile, almost black dark browns create a backdrop for spotlighting the other design elements in a room. They highlight the beauty of artwork, furnishings, and room accessories, letting them become focal points within the space.

C2 Paint’s full-spectrum dark brown paints offer visually striking design and space enhancing mood benefits. Full-spectrum means these C2 paints have a one of a kind 16 color tint system. Most traditional manufacturers use 8-10 colorants or less in order to use a smaller amount of pigments to keep costs low. Some economy brands take that even further, using just three pigments, plus black – to super- economize on colorants. This leads to lifeless looking colors that rarely coordinate well with art and furnishings.
